The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Before LPGA First Appearance
This young athlete boasts substantial social media following
Kai Trump will have multiple well-known supporters when she starts her LPGA debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and regularly plays against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play tight competitions," she stated.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."
"He basically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's busy with running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has played in just three tournaments this year and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He is the best player in the world," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive individual. He advised me to compete, relax, and go with the flow."
Kai will face some of the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence exposes the sport to different demographics, specifically reaching younger fans.
Kai has a massive following and has started her own fashion and living company.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
